Who are we?
RADAR NI (Risk Avoidance and Danger Awareness Resource) is Northern Ireland's first fully interactive safety and life skills centre. At RADAR we put children and young people at the heart of what we do. With our platform of more than 50 expert partners, we deliver interactive, informative and fun workshops for groups of children and young people giving them the opportunity to explore every day dangers in a risk free setting. RADAR has been designed to inspire, engage and inform young people. It is a ground-breaking and innovative way to educate children and young people. Programmes: We deliver age appropriate education on a range of safety and life skills areas. Our programmes complement those delivered in schools across Northern Ireland. Funding/Governance: TBC - Expected to be charity limited by guarantee. Currently combination of private and public sector funding. Any other facilities? RADAR is a great facility for conferences and meetings. Our meeting spaces vary in size depending on your needs. From our formal board room to our unconventional street we can host groups up to 130. As well as having a number of meeting spaces, including the balcony which overlooks our indoor street, the entire centre is also available for hire. |
