The Alliance are delighted to hear that Andy Townsend, our colleague and the manager of Bristol's Lifeskills Centre, will be a torchbearer for the London 2012 Olynpics.

Andy, 39, who is a former Paralympic Games volleyball competitor from 1992, said he was "amazed and privileged" to have been offered a place.
