Becoming a member

If you are already a safety centre or a safety centre in planning, the benefit of being a member is invaluable. Being a member of the Safety Centre Alliance gives you access to a wealth of knowledge and expertise from other safety centres alike.

As a member, you will receive access to our Google Group space where all members are able to ask questions of each other, share good practice and ideas.

We meet twice a year at a safety centre location so that we all get the opportunity to experience each other’s centres.

Key principles of membership:
  1. Free member to member help and advice - no member shall charge another member for general advice, visits or similar (unless for a significant piece of additional work which would incur additional costs to the centre). Cost sharing is encouraged, but the overall aim shall be collaboration and not profit.
  2. We aim to make all centres better through a collaborative approach rather than being seen to be in competition, or when any one centre has all the answers.
  3. We also aim to support centres-in-planning from development stage through to opening.

Membership Cost: £100 per annum
